Dr. Austin Bock

A Jackson native, Dr. Bock has had a lifelong passion for caring for animals. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri in 2012 and returned home to begin working at Jackson Veterinary Clinic. Just one year later, he became the owner of the practice. Dr. Bock is dedicated to serving both small and large animals, and his favorite part of veterinary medicine is mentoring future veterinarians and guiding the next generation of animal care professionals. He and his wife, Sara, have two sons, Witten and Auggie, and three Golden Retrievers—Hubble, Howie, and Henry. Outside the clinic , Dr. Bock enjoys spending time on his family farm, watching and coaching his boys in sports, getting in a good workout, and cheering on the Mizzou Tigers!
