Dr. Jill Boyer

Veterinarian

Dr. Jill Boyer is originally from Festus, Missouri. She earned her bachelor’s degree in agribusiness and animal science from Southeast Missouri State University in 2018, then moved to Columbus, Ohio, to attend The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in 2022 and joined Jackson Veterinary Clinic shortly after. Dr. Boyer has wanted to be a veterinarian since childhood and especially enjoys working through complex cases, assisting with dystocias, addressing behavioral concerns, and performing surgery.

She and her husband, Zack, were high school sweethearts and married in 2020. They have two children, Archie and Vivy, and a small farm filled with animals—including dogs, a cat, chickens, goats, and geese. Outside of work, Dr. Boyer loves spending time outdoors with her family, fishing, riding side-by-sides, relaxing in the creek, or watching movies. She also loves cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes! She values the close-knit team at the clinic and enjoys educating clients on vaccines, medications, and agricultural topics.
