Dr. Kassie Fluchel
Veterinarian
Dr. Kassie Fluchel graduated from Notre Dame Regional High School in 2018, then earned her bachelor’s degree in agribusiness with an emphasis in animal science from Southeast Missouri State University in 2021. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. Dr. Fluchel knew she wanted to become a veterinarian from a very young age. One of her earliest memories is drawing a picture in kindergarten of herself performing surgery, surrounded by all kinds of animals—a dream that never faded.
Dr. Fluchel enjoys the variety that veterinary medicine brings, from vaccinating a herd of cattle to examining a family dog. What she finds most rewarding is building strong relationships with both animals and their owners. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, hunting, painting, and spending time with her family. At home, she shares life with her three dogs—Chief, a tripod; Scrappy; and Nugget—along with her cat, Moe.
